I just HAVE to tell you about an absolutely amazing Pinot I had last night...it was late, after a freezing cold soccer tournament, and paired with a cold Subzone Reuben, but HOLY MOLY!!! All violets, blackberries and raspberries on the gorgeous, evocative nose...then velvety, stunning dark fruit on the palate..and a finish that lasts for ever and ever. It's been a really long time since I have tried an Arcadian Pinot - though I can recall a few nights at the Green Bottle.... Anyhow - worthy of case purchase (6 bottle cases, by the way) for Pinot-heads (or any lover of great wine!) I am really looking forward to the rest of the bottle tonight (hmm...maybe with a Snickers or Tootsie Roll?) By the way, I checked today, and Parker says 91 points, "brilliant", and drink through 2009. $33.49 per bottle (call for special case pricing.)
